Day 01: Delhi - Rishikesh (224 Kms 6-7 hrs drive)

The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh is of 224 kilometers and takes around 7 hours. Rishikesh is considered as the town of sadhus and saints and has many ashrams and temples. The two hanging bridges known as Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula are considered holy and are of great interest in Rishikesh. The famous ghats of Triveni is another religious landmark. Evening explore Rishikesh. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 02 : Rishikesh-Uttarkashi-Barsu

The day starts with a beautiful drive towards village of Barsu. The different colours of Himalayan beauty are displayed in different sects i.e. flora, landscape and local settlements. The drive takes you through the historic town of Narendranagar, goes past along the river Bhagirathi Ganga and continues to the holy town of Uttarkashi. From here its a drive of 48 km to reach Barsu, and takes about 2 hours. Barsu is a beautiful village with excellent view of the Himalayan peaks. Overnight stay at guest house/tent.

Day 03 : Barsu to Barnala Bugyal (6 kms/4 hrs)

The day starts on a well laden path which goes through the village and provides you an opportunity to see the day to day activities of the inhabitants. Beyond the village the trail starts to wind to the ridge passing through a dense forest of rhododendron. The commencement of Barnala meadow is marked with nomadic settlements of half a dozen huts. There is a potential campsite at Barnala meadow. Overnight in the tents at Barnala bugyal.

Day 04 : Barnala Bugyal to Dayara Bugyal (6 kms/2.5 hrs)

The trail above Barnala campsite climbs to the ridge where there is a beautiful lake called Barnala tal. The slopes here are really awesome and are of great interest for skiers during winters. After this the trail ascends through a dense pine forest and gets you to the meadows at Dayara. Overnight camping at Dayara Bugyal.

Day 05 : Dayara Bugyal to Nimdhar (16 kms/6 hrs)

The long day starts with a well laid trail on carpeted meadow, which is even better to walk with excellent view of Himalayas. The peak of Bandarpunch is emphatic among the many. The day’s trek stretches along the ridge towards the north of Dayara to take you finally to the campsite at Nimdhar. Overnight in the tents.

Day 06 : Nimdhar to Dodital (16 kms/6hrs)Dodital with Dayara Trek

The day’s walk comprises of all flavors as the trail first descends to the valley floor through a thick forest of oak and bamboo. Cross over the river named Dodigad as it comes from lake of Dodital., After this a steep ascend followed by the gradual trail leads finally to Dodital. At Dodital there is a gorgeous lake with the temple of Ganesha, couple of guest houses and excellent campsite. Overnight in the tents.

Day 07 : Rest day at Dodital

The day is for rest at Dodital which is well enriched with the beauty and tranquility of the lake surrounded by a dense forest. The scenic beauty of Dodital can compel any nature lover to camp here for days together. The lake has a surrounding pine forest with the Darwa meadow towering on one side and the open wide valley on the other is really awesome. A few rivulets which together make a distinguishing stream coming from Darwa meadow feed the lake. The evening pooja at the Ganesha temple adds to the energy of the place is really pleasant. Overnight in the tents.

Day 08 : Dodital - Darwatop- Seema ( 18 Km, 07 Hrs)

An early start is recommended for the day as the trail winds up along the feeding stream, passing through the narrow gorges, birch forest, rocky colonies, and involves a series of rivulet crossings, leads to a high meadow. Later the trail gets steep with a few switch backs finally takes you to the pass. The stunning view of Bandarpunch Peak and Swargarohini range is immaculate and most adorable. The descend from the pass towards Yamuna Valley (Seema) is long one but brilliant colours down the valley makes scenery so impeccable that it compensates for the efforts. Overnight in the tents.

Day 09 : Seema - Hanuman Chatti ( 13 Km Trek 04-05 Hrs)

The day involves further descend to the village of Hanuman Chatti, which is quite a decent place with imposing number of shops that serves as a supply market for the needs of local inhabitants. This is a beautiful market place where the local inhabitants can be seen in their distinctive appearances. Overnight in tents/ guest house.

Day 10 : Hanuman chatti - Haridwar

Another day with an early start involves drive towards Haridwar, which will take around 8 -9 hours. On arrival check into the hotel,. In the evening a sightseeing tour of Haridwar, followed by famous Mother Ganges aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 11 : Haridwar-Delhi

Morning drive back to Delhi. Arrive and continue towards the onward destination.
